Our summer programs run Monday through Friday for most of the summer months. Youth enjoy unique age-appropriate, exciting activities planned every day. A free lunch and afternoon snack is provided to all members. Our general hours are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended hour options available (see below).

Boys & Girls Clubs serve school-aged youth. This summer, we are open to those currently in the following grades (based on their 2009-2010 enrollment):

VOLUNTEERS

Summer Volunteer Orientations

Next Orientation: 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2010

Interested in helping out at the Boys & Girls Clubs Summer program this year? Attend a volunteer orientation to get all the details and set a schedule.

We are looking for three kinds of volunteers:

Field Trip Group Leaders. Come with us on our field trips (Tuesday - Friday, noon to 5 PM) and lead a small group of kids as they have fun at places like the YMCA, parks, movies, the Zoo and more.

Lunch & Snack Volunteers. We need help during meal times to engage youth while they eat and play games with them once their done. Meals are served between noon and 1:30 and 4:30 and 5:30 daily.

First & Second Grade Volunteers. The" little guys" sometimes require a little more attention. Our staff need help implementing fun daily activities between 1:30 and 4:30.

To sign up as a volunteer, attend a summer orientation. ALL volunteers must attend, even those currently serving!

Next Orientation: 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Garden City Boys & Girls Clubs. Volunteers interested in working at ANY of our summer sites may attend this orientation.

Bring a completed Volunteer Application to speed the process along.

Program Details & Costs

Standard Membership - $25 Per Youth
11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday from June 7th, 2010 through August 20, 2009*
Youth are engaged in planned, age-appropriate activities for the entire day. Activities include arts & crafts, technology, in and outdoor recreation, sports and educational projects. A free lunch and afternoon snack will be served.

* Kuna Summer Program ends August 6th, 2009.

Early Risers - $275 Per Youth for the entire summer ($225 in Kuna)
Youth can start the fun as early as 7:00 AM Monday - Friday. Breakfast will be served! Special morning programs and activities are included. Minimum payment during registration: $25

Adventure Pack - $60 Per Youth for the entire summer
Youth will have the opportunity to visit numerous fun spots in the valley including parks, swimming at the YMCA and even movies! Minimum payment during registration: $20

If you bring your checking account or credit card information, we can setup a payment plan that works for you to ensure our summer programs are affordable for everyone. Minimum payments are required on the day of registration.
